Pre-Canskate/CanSkate
CanSkate offers the best curriculum in Canada. This flagship learn-to-skate program has taught millions of Canadians to reach their recreational and competitive goals on the ice.
The CanSkate program is geared to beginners of all ages, newcomers to Canada and athletes with a disability (AWAD). Whether you are looking to improve basic skating skills for figure skating, hockey, ringette or speed skating, or wish to skate for recreation, fitness or fun, CanSkate will get you there.
Pre-CanSkateIntroSTAR
The purpose of this session is to ease the transition from CanSkate into STARSkate. Skaters will be introduced to skating skills, free skate, dance, artistic skating and synchronized skating in a progressive and sequential manner. As skaters master skills in each area, they will have the opportunity to complete assessments and/or enter events. Skaters will be taught in small groups by Skate Canada professional coaches in a fun and positive environment.
IntroSTARSTARSkate/

The Skate Canada Competitive Program provides opportunities for skaters to participate in competitions from the regional to the national/international level.
STARskate/Podium PathwaySynchronized Skating
Synchronized skating is ideal for skaters interested in a team activity. The focus of synchronized skating include shapes/formations, speed development and maintaining spacing while skating as a team.
